St. Louis Filmworks, a non-profit organization, is dedicated to fostering new and emerging filmmakers. Our mission is to educate, empower and provide support to the region's promising storytellers through various programs listed below.
We aim to equip them with a comprehensive understanding and practical experience in vetting, developing, and marketing their projects. Our ultimate goal is to empower filmmakers to build sustainable careers, thereby contributing to the growth of film production in the St. Louis area.

Fiscal Sponsorship
SLFW's fiscal sponsorship program provides emerging storytellers and filmmakersa way to accept tax-deductible donations to fund their project.

Grants
SLFW offers Professional Finishing Grants to help filmmakers finish and enhance the latest project. We also Travel Assistance Grants for local animators if an official selection ITFS/Stuttgart. Click to see application windows and past winners.

Meetup Group
Every other month, SLFW puts on an networking event hosted by an industry leaders such as Bad Dog Pictures, Stage 27, Capes-Sokol and ONCE Films. The first hour will be a Q/A with experts on important topics.

Location Challenge
Like a creative challenge? Quarterly, SLFW picks a location and sees what our community of filmmakers can do with it. Winning submission receives a $500 cash prize.
