Fiscal Sponsorship
SLFW is not accepting applications as we are migrating the process to a new platform.
We're excited to announce a new way that SLFW can support and empower St. Louis filmmaking.
Our fiscal sponsorship program provides emerging storytellers with a way to accept tax-deductible donations to fund their project.

What is a Fiscal Sponsor?
Fiscal sponsorship is an arrangement between an existing 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and an individual or entity lacking the ability to receive grants from foundations, government agencies and individual tax-deductible donations.
The main benefit of a fiscal sponsorship is giving emerging storytellers, filmmakers and entertainment artists access to charitable funding for their project without the expense and time-consuming process of creating and running a 501(c)(3) organization.
For the recipient, fiscal sponsors can provide infrastructure, oversight, and home for donations to an artist’s project. The fiscal sponsor also agrees to assume limited legal and financial responsibility for the activities of groups or individuals engaged in
work that furthers the fiscal sponsor’s mission. For SLFW, this allows us to support creative independence in visual storytelling and uphold a community of diverse, innovative artists with unique vision.
